Stella's is run by the mother of the family who was born in Lisbon and raised there throughout her childhood. With a passion for food installed from a very young age it was always a dream to run her own restaurant. This dream became a reality in 2016 when, alongside her two sons, Stella's was launched.

In the first 2 years of business at Stella's the family decided to take things slow and started with a takeaway style business serving traditional Piri Piri based meats and sides as well as the popular British Fish and Chips. The shop soon developed a reputation in the area and eventually in early 2018 the feeling that the time was right had hit home and the conversion into the bar / grill house that the family always wanted begun.

In July 2018 the doors swung open and the rest is history!
